About Us

South Caernarfon Creameries is one of Wales' leading farmer owned dairy co-operatives which now has around 125 member farmers. The co-operative was established in 1938 and today manufactures 6,500 tonnes of cheese and processes another 12 million litres of milk through the dairy each year. In total, we process 80 million litres of milk each year which is sourced from our member farmers who are located from North Wales into Mid Wales.

We supply a range of high quality dairy products including cheese and salted Welsh butter to a variety of customers; from smaller independent grocers, to large supermarkets and food service companies - you can even buy direct from our on-line shop! Our cheese range is packed into retail packs, large deli blocks or can be bought in bulk and includes, our special reserve deli brand, Old Shire
