Let’s face it, sometimes you just need that small Christmas gift to take around to someone’s house. Nothing predictable like wine or chocolates, nor too big, or too expensive, but just a little something to express your thanks and appreciation. This Christmas, South Caernarfon Creameries is launching a range of new cheese truckles. Each truckle has been cleverly packaged to replicate a Christmas gift; it is square cut and hand dipped in black wax, finished with a pretty contrasting ribbon and tag. So who needs wrapping paper?

South Caernarfon’s Vintage Cheddar Christmas Truckle, complete with green ribbon will be stocked in the majority of Waitrose stores, as well as at Selfridges. This cheese has a fantastic taste, a mature ‘bite’ and will be devoured by all the family, and is sure to impress any cheese connoisseur.   

As one would expect, the Red Leicester with Chilli is a ‘parcel’ with a red ribbon to highlight the addition of spicy chillies which perfectly complement the subtle Red Leicester Cheese. It will be stocked at the larger Sainsbury’s stores throughout the UK.

Finally, a cheese with real provenance, Welsh Caerphilly will be sold at Selfridges, just look out for the gold ribbon.

All of South Caernarfon’s cheese is made at their Creamery in North West Wales using premium-quality Welsh milk produced by their member farmers. This produces smooth-textured cheese with a tangy, clean, balanced and full-bodied flavour. All of the cheeses are suitable for vegetarians.
