Festive Cheer to Veterans

South Caernarfon Creameries has bought a slice of Christmas cheer to war veterans with a gift of our top quality cheese.  We gave some of our finest Cavern Aged Cheddar, Cheddar & Leek and Caerffili cheeses to the Chelsea Pensioners at the annual Ceremony of the Christmas Cheeses. Proud Day for Jordan

One of the proudest people at the open day to mark the 80th anniversary of South Caernarfon Creameries was Jordan Roberts. Jordan, one of our newest recruits, is the great grandson of the co-operative’s founder, the late John Owen Roberts. J O Roberts was awarded an MBE for his outstanding contribution to the Welsh dairy industry.  The medal has now been given to South Caernarfon Creameries by Jordan’s grandfather, William Roberts, to keep in posterity.  This was presented by Jordan …

Open Day

A open day was held on Saturday, 7th July to celebrate the 80th anniversary of South Caernarfon Creameries and it was a huge success with hundreds walking through the gate. Members of the public were able to see the entire cheese making process including learning how the milk is turned into cheese, matured and packed ready for distribution its range of customers.  They were given guided tours of the plant including visiting one long-term cheese storage warehouse where 5,000 tonnes …

South Caernarfon Creameries attended the Taste Wales two day conference held at the Celtic Manor 23rd-24th March 2017 arranged by the Welsh Government.  The Celtic Manor Resort is a well known venue since the global Ryder Cup was held there in 2010.  This was an  international conference covering the top topics within the industry; it showcased an array of Welsh food and drink products and several Welsh Food and Drink producers across Wales attended.  The Taste Wales team had contacted …
